Ring ditches, pits, and linear features to the NE of Monkton, visible as cropmarks in the 2007 Google Earth image. 3 definite ring ditches (one double ditched), with an additional 4 possible ring ditches. The 3 definite ring ditches measure in diameter: 27m, 21m, and 30m (outer ditch) and 18m (inner ditch). The 4 possible ring ditches measure approximately: 20m, 13m, 19m, and 22m. There are also a number of linear ditches, with possible enclosures. There are a number of pits of varying size. There are also some solid rectangular features, possibly sunken-floor buildings or something of similar dimentions.

Five ring ditches, pits, and linear features to the NE of Monkton are visible as cropmarks on the 2007 Google Earth image and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007. These and surrouding features have been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These barrows are recorded separately as individual child records to this main parent record. The remains of a large Romano-British settlement around these barrows are recorded in TR36NW238 (2)
