The incomplete cropmark of a possible Later Prehistoric or Roman enclosure can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1978. This cropmark is to the north of Harts Hill. If an enclosure, the cropmark describes the north-east corner and measures circa 32m by 9.5m. This was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
