Full Description
Earth Traverse Bomb Dump [Building No.277], Detling Airfield. Remains of an ‘earth traverse’ bomb dump used for the open storage of high explosive bombs. A 2024 survey described the site as "On farmland west of A249 between the Kent County Showground and the Detling Aerodrome Industrial Estate. Remains of the brick-walled entrance to the open bomb dump. Poor condition." (1)
