Full Description
Cropmark of a large pit or quarry of uncertain date measuring 20m x 26m and visible at TR 3588 6737 on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Historic England Ramsgate HAZ project. The eastern side of the pit obscures and possibly has destroyed part of a possible Bronze Age round barrow which is visible as a partial ring ditch immediately to the east.(1)
