Full Description
Cropmark of a single large pit of uncertain date seen at TR 3570 6520 visible on aerial photographs. The pit appears to hug the NE side of a large ring ditch of an Early Bronze Age round barrow (NREHE 469018). It is possible that the quarry was excavated against the barrow when still extant, respecting the curve of the barrow mound and ditch. (1)
