Full Description

Cropmarks of a fragmented perpendicular ditch, possibly part of a large rectangular enclosure of uncertain date centred at TR 3568 6750. The ditch is made up of two elements at 90 degrees to each other with a slightly rounded corner. The longer section aligned N-S is 45m long, the shorter W-E section 24m in length. A short length of ditch parallel to the N-S ditch can be seen 25m to the east, possibly the eastern side of the fragmented enclosure. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. (1) .
