Full Description

Second World War coastal defences at Ramsgate in the form of three parallel lines of barbed wire across Marina Parade and Marina Road perpendicular to the beach which were visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941. Centred at TR 3881 6514, this effectively forms a roadblock across both roads. These features were mapped from aerial photogrpahs as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project.(1)
