Full Description
A mid-late Bronze Age (1500-1000 BC) pit was identified during an evaluation at Lower Herne Village, carried out in 2021. The pit measured 1.99m in length, 1.09m in width, and 0.21m in depth. Two pottery sherds dating to the mid-late Bronze Age (1500-1000 BC) were identified within its fill. (1)
