The remains of late 19th - early 20th century industrial buildings were identified during a 2017 evaluation at Flood Lane, Faversham. The buildings were interpreted as being related to either a gunpowder mills or a boat building workshop known to have existed at the site during this time.

Full Description

The remains of late 19th - early 20th century brick built industrial buildings were identified during a 2017 evaluation at Flood Lane, Faversham. The buildings were interpreted as being related to either a gunpowder mills or a boat building workshop known to have existed at the site during this time. Deposits and structures identified at the site included a wall, concrete foundations, concrete surfaces, demoliton layers, and made ground. (1)
