Vertical Datum: LAT Orientation: NS 28-JUN-1972 In 51 26 21N 000 40 26E. 13-MAR-1991 Stranded wreck, lying N/S, shown in 51 26 22N 000 40 29.5E on photoplot (1). Additional photographs (2-6). Site identified during 2002 survey and comprises the remains of a wooden cutter type craft,with a combination of both copper and iron fittings (7). This post medieval wreck can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and is still visible on aerial photographs dated 2011. It is situated in Colemouth Creek close to the coast of the Isle of Grain (TQ 8588 7460) and measures approximately 15m by 5.4m. It has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(2-3)
