Summary

The earthworks of a bank can be seen on lidar taken in 2001. This feature is situated to the south east of Decoy Farm. This may be the remains of a post medieval field boundary but was followed for much of its length by a trackway which was first depicted on the 1870 Ordnance Survey map. This earthwork was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

Full Description

The earthworks of a bank can be seen on lidar taken in 2001. This feature is situated to the south east of Decoy Farm and is centred on TQ 7909 767. This may be the remains of a post medieval field boundary but was followed for much of its length by a trackway which was first depicted on the 1870 Ordnance Survey map. This earthwork was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
