Full Description
A tramway is visible on the 2nd edition OS map (1897-1900), associated with a jam factory (TQ 64 NW 360). The site is labelled as 'Mid Kent Jam factory' on the 2nd edition OS map, and as 'Crystalate Factory' on the 3rd and 4th edition OS maps and the tramway is visible on the 2nd and 3rd edition OS maps. The tramway leads from the factory to a landing stage on the River Medway. (1, 2)
