Summary
In St Leonard's Wood there is evidence of a linear ditch running NE to SW. It appears to be approximately 3.40m wide and 0.75 to 1.50m deep. The SW end is sealed by a logging track embankment. This end of the ditch is approximately 300m long while on the SW side of the embankment the ditch is intermittent for about 200m. A later track obscures much of the ditch.

Full Description
Linear ditch situated in St Leonard's Wood. Runs NE-SW with SW end sealed by logging track embankment at TQ 66355525 and NE and becoming difficult to trace (but probably continuing in the same direction from TQ 66605555). This part of the ditch is approx. 300m long. On the SW side of the logging track embankment at TQ 66355524 the ditch continues intermittently for perhaps another 200m but is largely obscured by a later track. The ditch itself is approx. up to 3.40m wide and 0.75-1.50m deep. It has a flat bottomed u-shaped profile. (1)
