Full Description
Two shallow ditches were discovered during an evaluation by Dover Archaeological Group in 1995. Filling of feature 1 contained 2 large calcined flints and a struck flake. Feature 2 contained a single indeterminate pot-sherd of Roman/medieval date. It is thought that they probably represent field boundary ditches. A few other artefacts were found, namely a medieval ring brooch and eighteenth century coin. (1)
