Monument record TR 35 NW 215 - Medieval ditch at Manwood Road Sandwich
Summary
Three linear features of differing dates were located, probably ditches aligned roughly NE-SW. Feature 1 contains mix of local and continental ceramics C12, possibly predating Sandwich Castle. Other larger features not fully defined, upper fills contain recent finds, may be related to castle defences.
