Monument record TQ 87 NW 39 - Late Bronze Age/early Iron Age pits, Middle Stoke

Summary

Four Late bronze Age/Early Iron Age pits were found during work in advance of construction on the A228. The fill of these features contained charcoal flecks, Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age pottery dating to c.700 BC and fire cracked flint.
