Full Description
In 1995 an excavation was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along a pipeline between Deal and Ramsgate, at Sandwich Bay. A Neolithic pit was located at Chalk Hill. 35 sherds of Late Neolithic pottery and 15 struck flints were recovered. (1)
