Full Description
Alignment of roundwood posts running for some 140m parallel to the Swale on the foreshore at Joan Fleet, nr Queenborough. Identified 1996, investigation showed the timbers to have been cut with a modern saw, prob forming part of revetment to consolidate salt marsh (TQ 97 SW 1104) Nearby are the remains of a jetty prob also of PM date (1) and site photograph (2). No visible remains seen during 2002 survey (3).
