2 ditches running parallel at TR 1398 4308 and TR 1394 4306, they may have flanked a former trackway. (FCE TR 1396 4305) (1)

In 1994 an evaluation was undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust at the proposed site of Oasis Holiday Village, West Wood, Lyminge. In Trench M and H there was a ditch. Sections were dug through the latter ditch which showed it to have a wide, shallow form. A smaller V-shaped recut had been made through it and its base had been lined with stones. The occassional flint was found but there were no datable artefacts were recovered. (2)
