Monument record TR 05 SE 142 - Earthwork bank and hollow way, Chilham Park
Summary
A large earthwork bank is located on the boundary of Chilham Park and Godmersham Park on the parish boundary. This bank is the remains of an 18th century park pale, a wooden stake fence used for a deer park. A hollow way runs from this feature up to the north downs and this is thought to predate the earthwork.
