RCHME AP shows staple enclosure with conjoined T-shaped linear feature. 5 macula features in and around the enclosure, 3 consisting of pit features, therefore possible barrows. TSMR site 0303. (1-2)

The cropmark remains of the western part of a larger, extensive settlement complex (TR 36 NW 44) which continues across three further fields to the west of this small section. The site is possibly the remains of a Roman settlement. The maculae and round barrows are recorded separately as child records to the main record. These features have been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. (3-7)
