Summary
Two air raid shelters at Gillingham Gate. Now demolished, their locations were identified by scarlines of the concrete roofs in the 1870's dockyard wall during a 1997 survey. A third shelter was also located here but no evidence remains.

Full Description
2 air raid shelters on E & W side of Gillingham Gate at TQ 7743 6944 and TQ 7738 6945. Both had been demolished prior to report but were identified by scarlines of the concrete roofs in the 1870's dockyard wall. A third shelter had been on the W side of the Gate but left no evidence. (1,2)
