Monument record TR 36 NE 2001 - Romano-British and Jutish features and associated finds, Nethercourt Estate, Ramsgate

Summary

A shallow cut and ditch feature were found during an archaeological evaluation at Nethercourt estate in 1988. Found within the fill of the cut feature were a flint scraper and a clay bead, thought to be associated with the Jutish cemetery to the west. Finds from the fill of the ditch included midden materials, Romano-British pottery sherds as well as iron nail fragments and a bronze pin. This feature was thought to be associated with a Romano-British site to the east.
