Monument record TQ 94 NE 61 - Post medieval pit at Leda Cottages

Summary

An archaeological evaluation was carried out by the Museum of London Archaeology Service in August 1998 at Leda cottages, near Charing, north-west of Ashford, Kent. The evaluation formed part of a greater investigation along the line of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. One of the 18 trial trenches revealed a truncated post medieval pit.
