Full Description
16 1-metre square test pits were hand excavated to determine the location, extent and composition of any mesolithic lithic concentrations. The sieving also produced medieval pottery, predominantly in the eastern field immediately to the south of the village of Harrietsham. A medieval feature (possibly a ditch) was located in the bottom of one of the test pits(1).
