Eight archaeological features were recorded by this evaluation, predominantly concentrated in the south-east half of the site. These include four ditches and a gulley, all undated, a post-medieval palaeochannel and a further two undated palaeochannels. All the features appear to be associated with drainage (natural and artificial), and the almost complete absence of and medieval or earlier artefacts from any deposit may suggest that little or no associated settlement activity has occurred within the immediate area at any time.
