Full Description
Small truncated rectangular pit, flat bottomed with straight sides found containing c.140 sherds of LIA pottery. Thirteen fabric types were present six of which were new with no known parallels. Vessel types included jars, bowls ranging from coarse to fineware. With the sherds were two small iron objects pierced by copper alloy rivets with probably part of a leather strap.(1,2)
