Summary

Ditches and pottery (Bronze Age / Iron Age) found at the former Royal Marines north barracks, Deal. A large complex of shallow ditches and gullies was found, together with a few postholes and pits. The limited pottery evidence suggested that the sequence had begun in the Bronze Age although many of the features were early Iron Age in date.
