Full Description
It seems likely that this ditch, 1.10-1.40m across and approx 0.70m deep was dug at the end of the first century or during the second centuries, from pottery found, and that it formed part of either a boundary or small enclosure. The terminal end of the ditch was just visible at the end of the evaluation trench(1).
A number of earlier IA ditches were also found nearby (See TQ 75 SE 128).
