Full Description
A watching brief was carried out in July 1998 at 42 Quern Road, Mill Hill, Deal observing the foundation trenching for a new extension. The only feature of archaeological significance was a small pit which contained a single wall sherd of flint-tempered Iron Age pottery. The sherd was found near the top of the pit fill and it is uncertain whether it is representative of the date of the pit or is residual. (1)
