Monument record TR 15 NE 399 - Medieval/post-medieval pits at rear of 79/82 Northgate Canterbury
Summary
Three evaluation trenches were dug on land to the rear of the building prior to proposed extension. Evidence of an intact post-medieval deposit was recorded, contating intercutting pits containing late medieval and post medieval deposits. A small quantity of Anglo-Saxon and Roman residual pottery was also found.
