Full Description
Between Treasurer's and Godsfoe Towers is a position for a 6 pdr AT gun. It is behind the castle outer curtain wall enclosed by a square, concrete block structure. The rectangular embrasure is cut through the castle curtain wall, this was added to in 1940. (1-2)
6pdr. anti-tank gun position in wall. Anti-tank pillbox sited behind Dover Castle wall. Embrasure made by removing top of buttress. [Recorder Carson gives NGR - TR 324420].
Pillbox (Sector 5). Cassini ref 765594. It is possibly this pillbox that is scheduled by English Heritage, although the scheduling notice gives NGR - TR 32574187. Dover Castle. (3)
