50 sherds of Roman pottery, including samian ware and amphora fragments were located alongside a hone, animal bones and occasional marine shells during an archaeological watching brief undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust during the underpinning and re-facing of the retaining wall in front of the Unitarian Church, Dover.
