Monument record TR 15 NE 434 - Possible Ditch
Summary
Ditch cut into redeposited brickearth, measuring c.0.85m in width. The infill of the ditch is made up from deposits of several periods, a orange-brown mixed clay loam containing angular flints, oyster shells, charcoal flecks, fragments of Roman tile, bone, mortar and pot. There were four further potsherds on the surface of the deposits, one of which dated from the late eleventh/early twelfth century type.
