Full Description
Evaluation trenching Laundry Rd. Minster, 1995 revealed, to the north of the site, a pit containing a rim sherd of flint gritted pottery of early to mid Iron Age date, waste flakes and animal teeth. The pit extended northwards into the trench, its full extent was not known as it extended beyond the limits of excavation to the south. It was at least 1m long by 2m wide with a maximum depth of 0.3m. (1)
