Full Description

Only four pieces of worked flint were located at the site during the excavation phase of work just north of Holy Trinity Church, Dartford. The flintwork was undiagnostic of period, but was probably of later prehistoric date. Its location in residual contexts suggests that no prehistoric activity took place within the immediate area of the site, although there was some presence in the area. The grid ref below is a centre point for the excavation work.
Roman activity (TQ 57 SW 215) and a post medieval cemetery (TQ 57 SW 36) were also recorded on the site [1].
