Full Description

During an evaluation excavation a number of archaeological features were uncovered. These included robbed out walls, pits and occupation layers. Only a rubbish pit containing bones, peg-tile, oyster shell and pottery was able to be dated to the 13th century. There is insufficient evidence to link the features with the near by Minster Abbey (TQ 97 SE 1)(1)
