Full Description
A small number of features, pits and post-holes, containing a few sherds of pottery dating to between the 2nd and 4th centuries AD. These features and the inclusion of a large quantity of Roman tile in the Minster Abbey church (TQ 97 SE 1), indicate the presence of a nearby settlement.(1, 2)
