Summary

Earliest known function of 167 Snargate Street was as a public house, 'The Beehive Inn', one of a number of establishments in this street and the surrounding area servicing the nearby troops stationed at the Western Heights. By the early 20th century it had become a drapery. At some stage the shop closed and the building, along with No.166, converted into flats (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information).
