Excavation in 1999 (?) by the Swale & Sittingbourne Archaeology Society discovered an eigth century ditch running parallel to Queen's Road. The ditch was dated on the basis of finds of Ipswich Ware.

Excavation in 1999 (?) by the Swale & Sittingbourne Archaeology Society discovered an eigth century ditch running parallel to Queen's Road. The ditch was dated on the basis of finds of Ipswich Ware.(1)
