Monument record TQ 97 SW 85 - Possible early medieval sunken feature buildings, Barton Hill Drive, Minster, Isle of Sheppey

Summary

Five features interpreted as possible early medieval sunken feature buildings were recorded on the site of Sheppey Community Hospital. The pottery recovered from the features was all prehistoric, although much of it could be residual. The form of the features is suggestive of early medieval sunken feature buildings.
