Full Description
Archaeological works on land to the rear of 16-18 Dane Hill recorded a densely white-patinated waste flake, probably dating to at least the Bronze Age and possibly earlier. It was found in a later Roman pit/posthole [1]. See also Monument records TR 37 SE 349, 350, 351 and 352 for information on the iron age, Roman and post medieval archaeology recorded on site.
