Full Description

In c.2004 Archaeology South-East carried out a watching brief and excavated features found during this at Lydd 14, Lydd Quarry. Parallel ditches c.8m apart that may have flanked a trackway linking the Late Iron Age and Roman sites at Lydd Quarry and Scotney Court. An enclosure lay on the northern side of this. (1)
