Location of a former quarry to the south of Giddyhorn Lane, Maidstone, indicated by the name "Quarry Wood" referring to land parcel number 3, comprising almost 5 acres, on a map of Great Buckland Farm dated 1804 an early nineteenth century estate atlas. The adjacent parcel of land is called "Quarry Field", see TQ 75 NW 160(1)
