Full Description
An estate map of Little Buckland Farm dated 1804 in an early nineteenth century estate atlas shows a barn on the south-west side of London Road at the edge of a parcel of land, No. 6. The accompanying estate report gives the name of this parcel as "Lords Wood". (1) A building is shown in this location in 1797 on the Ordnance Survey Drawing of Maidstone, and also on the Tithe map of 1843, but is no longer shown in 1866 on the Ordnance Survey map.
