TQ94SE GREAT CHART CHILMINGTON GREEN 15/46 Netters Farmhouse - 14/2/67 II
the description shall be amended to read:
House. C16 or earlier building refronted in early C19. Timberframed, the ground floor underbuilt in sandstone with brick dressings and weatherboarded first floor. Steeply pitched hipped tiled roof with off central brick chimneystack. Two storeys; 2 windows. C19 casements, some triple. Off central plank door with wooden weatherhood.
1. 5272 GREAT CHART CHILMINGTON GREEN Netters Farmhouse (formerly listed as Netter Farmhouse) TQ 94 SE 15/46 14.2.67 II 2. Probably a late mediaeval hall-house refaced, the ground floor with cement on a base of stone rubble, above tile-hung. Two storeys and attics. Hipped tiled roof with one gabled dormer. Two casement windows.
