Hipped tiled roof with 3 dormers and bracket eaves and cornice. Painted stringcourse. Five sashes with glazing bars intact. Porch with Tuscan columns at the head of 5 steps. Round headed doorcase in this with semi-circular fanlight and door of 8 fielded panels. The house retains the original iron spear railings to its forecourt.

Called after a former owner named Dr Ludwell but originally built by the Poole family. Early C18. Two storeys attics and cellars red brick and grey headers alternatively. Hipped tiled roof with 3 dormers and bracket eaves cornice. Painted stringcourse. Five sashes with glazing bars intact. Porch with Tuscan columns at the head of 5 steps. Round headed doorcase in this with semi-circular fanlight and door of 8 fielded panels. The house retains the original iron spear railings to its forecourt. (2) Ludwell House early 18th century. The red brick chequered with blue headers. Five bays by three. Early 19th century forecourt railings. (3)
