Hall House. Late C15. Close-studded timber frame with red brick plinth, plain tile roof. 2 storeys on plinth; continuous first floor jetty. Eaves cornice to hipped roof with gablets, with 2 projecting end stacks and 1 central stack. The central bays with jettied floor joists at higher level than side bays indicated inserting floor. Irregular fenestration of 5 C20 wooden casement windows to first floor, with 3 C20 segmental bays to ground floor and C20 plank door to centre right.

Wealden house with a formerly open 2-bay hall and overshot passage. Large scale alterations in the early 17th century involved the major extension of the lower end and the flooring over of the hall giving the house a continuous jetty (2)
