Full Description

Nos 42, 44 and 46 Castle Hill Street (south east side), Dover, GII Listed Building. Mid Cl9 terrace. 3 storeys stock brick except for No 42 which has had an extra storey added. Parapet and moulded eaves cornice. 4 sashes with most glazing bars intact. No 44 has canted bays through 2 storeys. The others have bow shop fronts. No 46 has 'Gothick' glazing to its shop front, the top panes being pointed with an elaborate cornice over the window in imitation of a machicolation effect. Round-headed fanlights with keystones and steps to street with cast iron hand rails and area railings. Nos 16 to 58 (even) form a group. (1)
