Summary

Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1400 to 1899. Wealden type hall house dating to the 15th century. Timber framed in oak with close studding infill, 19th century roughcast and 19th century tiled roof. Central hall (later divided into 2 storeys) with north and south bays jettied at front, north bay jettying intact, but south bay has been underbuilt. Both bays have curved braces to ground and first floors. Internally divided to form 3 cottages.
